The EnergyPact Foundation was established in 2007 in Switzerland as a non-profit, non-political organisation. Transferred to Vienna in 2017, it is currently being re-registered in Switzerland. Our mission is to promote the balanced and responsible use of energy resources — aligning innovation, economic development, environmental protection, and long-term resilience. As energy systems become increasingly digital, security can no longer be treated in isolation. In response to rising cyber risks and geopolitical fragmentation, the Foundation has expanded its focus to include cybersecurity, protection of critical infrastructure, and digital sovereignty.
