The conditions in which international relations are burdened with numerous challenges, it is difficult, if not impossible, for each individual state to cope with them on its own. Growing protectionism, the aspiration to impose unilateral solutions, the growing governance crisis, and many other negative phenomena are sources of growing uncertainty that have a destabilizing effect on the world order. The only real way to solve these problems is multilateral cooperation. In that sense, the support that most countries of the world provide to the United Nations is a confirmation of the commitment of these states to preserve universal values, respect the basic principles of international law, as well as a confirmation of open and constructive policy.
