Due to the interconnectivity of the energy networks, this problem can only be managed through an effecitve international collaboration that enables cybersecurity information sharing and mutual assistance among energy providers and state authorities from different countries. The historical experience of Austria in managing multicultural environments and the co-operation with Energy Pact Foundation ensure that the event will serve as an important step towards the establishment of a multistakeholder platform to meet the challenges of cybersecurity in the energy sector.”
